If you want to send messages with Sheet SMS, you need to comply with compliance rules, industry standards, and all applicable laws.
One major requirement is that the recipients of your messages have expressly consented or "opted-in" to receive text messages.
A good message is a message that the recipient wants to receive and which brings relevant information.
Make sure to always get clear consent from your recipients and store this proof as long as you are sending messages with Sheet SMS.
If Sheet SMS detects an usage that would not respect these guidelines, we might ask for proof of consent and more information.
In case of flagrant violation of consents or complains, Sheet SMS will terminate your account.
Usage requirement
When you send messages with Sheet SMS, make sure to always comply with the local laws where you are sending messages.
Each country differs and Sheet SMS advises to review your usage with legal cousel to make sure that your usage comply with the law.
As a general requirement do not send messages that could offend or hurt anyone.
Only communicate during your recipient daytime hours.
Do not contact recipients on do-not-call or do-not-disturb registries.
Carrier filtering
In order to protect their customers, mobile carriers actively scan messages and block the ones that are considered to be spam or unwanted messages.
While Sheet SMS product is made to maximize delivery and to help you to get successful SMS campaign, Sheet SMS has no control over decisions made by your recipients carrier.
When a message is sent, there is no way to know what will be the decision of the recipient mobile carrier.
Please kindly note that you will charged for any message sent regardless of its final delivery status. This is because we are also charged for all messages by our SMS provider.
In order to maximize your delivery rate you can follow these good practices :
- Make sure to get explicit consent from your recipients. If you have a dedicated number, you can make them start the conversation by sending "Start".
- Send personalised messages using your recipient information and meaningful content.
Sending the same message several times might be considered as spam.
- Identify yourself clearly
- Be careful about your wording and do not send too pushy messages or misleading information.
- Minimize your reject rates by making sure that your recipients want to receive your messages.
Forbidden usages
Make sure to comply with local laws when you send messages.
In several countries it is forbidden to send SMS for politic campaigns in certain time or at all time.
Do not send messages related to illegal activities or related to alcohol, firearms, gambling, tobacco, or other adult content.
If we detect any fraudulent activity or receive several valid complains, we will contact you and potentially terminate your account.
Sheet SMS will fully cooperate with any government entity in case of illegal activity.
Stop mention
Sheet SMS will add to your text messages sent directly a link to unsubscribe.
If the recipient is registered on our database to not receive messages anymore you won't be able to contact the person. (More information

Sheet SMS is absolutely not responsible for the messages you are sending.
It is simply a tool to help to send messages in an easy and convenient manner.
If the messages you send infringe the law or are linked with illegal activity, Sheet SMS will not be responsible for your activity and you will hopefully get arrested.
Sheet SMS will comply with authority of any country to transfer all information it has about an user if it can help.
This Application is made to be used with Google Sheets.
It has absolutely no links with Google company or with Google Sheets, it simply uses the Google Sheets frameworks provided by Google to allow users to send texts messages using Google Sheets.
